UPPER FRYING PAN

FLOW: 132 cfs! and perfect. It's "Mysis Time" right now.

WATER CLARITY: Gin Clear

The frying Pan has been very consistant this week. With a slight bump in flows the fish have been on a mysis shimp binge! This has also caused a number of big fish to show up. With water temp's in the forty degree range the fish are warm, hungry and very active. Being a tailwater the first few miles beneath Ruedi resovoir remain at forty degrees whether it is January, Frebruary or August and this provides consistant fishing anyday of the year. If you're not a skier check out the winter fishing!

FOOD SOURCES PRESENT:
Predominately midges and eggs. Mysis shrimp are coming out of the dam in heavier numbers as well given the higher flows, though are limited to the top mile below the dam.
